Meet the team
Originally trained as an Engineer Jeremy moved into Architecture in the 1980’s. Having owned some prominent listed properties Jeremy realised there was a real need for Architectural Designers who understood and were aware of the unique needs that period properties require. This lead to Jeremy being one of the early pioneers in period style Architecture in this niche market.
Due to being one of the main respectedArchitectural Designers in this field, Jeremy was asked to write for Individual Homes (now Homebuilding & Renovating) as Design Consultant and latterly was a regular participant for the Dream Home Challenge.
Amongst publications Jeremy Co-Authored “The Daily Telegraph Individual Homes Book” edited by Tom Rowland. Jeremy’s subject was “Deciding on how you want your home to look”.
Amongst other properties Jeremy won the design of a 25,000 sq. ft. manor house North of Chicago, USA. This project took many years and ended with Jeremy moving to the USA whilst the property was being built.
After living in the USA for some years Jeremy became aware of the more open plan nature of the American floor plans this lead to incorporating the open floor plan nature within a traditional British elevation a combination for which Jeremy is now recognised.
Amongst other institutes and societies Jeremy is currently a member of the Traditional Architecture Group (TAG) of which the aims are beauty, humanism and continuity of the past and future.
